The Trail to the Village Hidden in Mist

The sky is clear and the trail is surronded in sparse woods as the group heads to the potentially hostile village. There is no need for secrecy yet as they have just now left territory of the Konoha and have quite a journey ahead of them before any threats should be expected.

OOC: Feel free to create your own side-stories and such, have some fun with the rest before I'm forced to thrust you into battle with the Blind Nin again.

Sorano and Hiro contenued down the path, enjoying the fresh air. Sorano glanced over at Hiro, and looked back at the road, a light blush coloring her face. Hiro was her friend first and formost, but he was still darn cute.

"It's nice to be out here, without some one trying to kill us." she joked.

"mhmm." Hiro was deep in thought, and didn't pay much attention to what was around him, exept for the warm body by his side.

Sorano saw him glance at her, and her blush spread. It would almost be a relief to get to the village, but at the same time, she didn't want her time alone with Hiro to end.

Hiro couldn't stand the temptation anymore. He closed his eyes, gulped. . .

Sorano's bright green eyes widened as she felt Hiro grasp her hand. Her heart lept, and she gently closed her hand around his. She barley felt the ground under her anymore, she was flying so high.

Unfortunately, their little moment wouldn't last too long. Taiki clapped his hands to their shoulders in his friendly manner and gave a bright smile, "Well, seems as though another big adventure is ahead of us, eh Sorano?"

He released them from his grasp and put his hands behind his head. The day was nice, in a peaceful way. He felt like a genin again!

Aiuma scratched at the dirt. Had the tunnel gotten smaller already? She finally yanked herself out of the secret entrance/exit, and dusted herself off. Taiki had everything in his pack because -she- was the one that packed it for the lazy butt. And so she galloped for the road to join up with the rest of the team.

Hiro's face turned a bright shade of red as he was reminded of thier third group member. He quickly released Sorano's hand, scolding himself for being so bold.

Sorano laughed, embarassed and sad that Hiro had let go. She lightly slapped Tai-kun in the back of the head, causing a humorus reaction.

"I wish it could be like this all the time." she thought outloud. Then she glanced behind her, feeling a familiar presence approaching. Sorano sighed, she new Aiuma wouldn't stay away for long.

How right Sorano was. Aiuma came pounding down the dirt road, creating quite the dust storm behind her. She skidded to a stop mere inches away from the group. Instinctivly, she shook off any remaining dust particles that clung to her. After this, she smiled innocently like a little child.

"Was I missed?"

Taiki rubbed the back of his head where Sorano had struck him. He smiled nervously as he turned around to face the horse demon.

"No, not at all!"

Aiuma pounced on him, yelling things like, "Damn you!" and "You should appreciate that I came along to save your ass!" and such.

Sorano watched the struggle for a bit, then sighed, and went to help her comrade.

"You know you were ordered away from this mission, right Ai-chan?" she joked, as she pulled the half-demon off of Taiki. She lauged, as Tai-kun lay on the ground, faking death. She felt a shiver go through her spine, and dismissed it as a gust of wind. She straitened up, and stared into the blue sky, feeling a wave of calm wash over her.

Aiuma shook her head and grunted.
"Tch, right," She smirked, "And you think the Hokage can keep this horse in a cage? Puh-leez!"

Taiki stood and dusted himself off. He put a hand on Sorano's shoulder as if to stabilize himself from his near death encounter and stuck his tongue out at Aiuma.

"We wish they would just chain you up, but they're too nice!"

The group of friends all stopped as a rustling was heard just up ahead. Apparently, someone fancied themself a better ninja than they actually were.
