Okay, this may be a bit shocking, but, due to situations [nearly] completely out of my control....I drew a pikachu.

But I think of it more of a Hail-Nekoyasha/SuperSmashBros fanart than a Pokemon one, because, I don't care much for that particular show.

Well, everyone seemed to be afraid to create art threads themselves, so now I'm doing it for them. ^_^

Myself, I liked the piece very much. My only criticism is that pikachu is, by all definitions, a mouse (or at least a rodent), but this doesn't seem to be reflected in the anatomy presented in your "realistic" depicition. The shadow struck me as a bit off, but I can't place my finger on it. That could just be my imagination. I thought that the pokeball watermark background was a very nice touch.

XD why thank you, Eth, I appreciate it. I'll admit that the anatomy took a major turn for the leporidae, but rabbits are rodents, too, are they not? The shadow's way off, so it's not your imagination. I kinda slapped it on there to keep the balance.

I never fave for shallow reasons, and especially not for people I know. You did earn that one from me. Though I agree with Ethy in saying that it didn't look like any real animal. The difference is, it's a Pokemon. It's not supposed to look like a real animal.

i would say that it looks less like a real animal and more like a stylized version of the orginal (the style being that of saber, obviously). however, the musculature does resemble a mouse, rabbit, or even kangaroo more than the original creature (i like this about it). good execution.
