I really like movies, but many of my favorites haven't been seen by to many people. This thread is for posting the title of a movie or two that you would recomend for others to see.

Howl's Moving Castle (http://imdb.com/title/tt0347149/) is Hayao Miyazaki's latest movie, and it is another masterpiece by him. I would recomend this movie for any age group, and is great both subtitled, or dubbed.

I <3 Huckabees

Seconded.

I suggest Dr. Strangelove (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Strangelove), one of American cinema's few great satires and my favorite classic film. Highly quotable.

FMA: Conqueror of Shambala. It really ties up the end of the series. I don't recommend it if you haven't finished the series yet, though.

Princess Bride. If you don't know what it is, then you should see it ASAP.

The Court Jester. A favorite of mine. It's a comedy starring Danny Kaye made like 80 years ago or something XD It stars a circus performer as he infiltrates a false King's court as a jester to over throw him. Really funny stuff.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights. The only Mel Brooks movie I ever completely enjoyed. Definite must see. Even if you've already seen it.

Wait wait wait, how many episodes of FMA are there? 'Cause I just got like DVD #11 or 12 in the mail from NetFlix. Have I finished it yet? I'm pretty sure I've still got a few episodes to go. 'Cause I really wanna see that movie.

And The Last Kiss was AMAZING. A fantastic performance by Zach Braff, once again. It has it's funny moments, but over the movie is pretty sad. It's basically about Michael [Zach Braff] and his girlfriend, Jenna, who is now pregnant, and all of his friends relationships start falling apart and then Michael meets a college girl at his friend's wedding, and they start to talk more, and they go to a party, and basically Jenna finds out and leaves him, and then he gets her back in the end.

Divided by four... means there's 1 DVD left for me to watch. :O #13. Then I get the movie.. and BOOM.

He will probably never be closer than 50 feet away from you. xD

I, on the other hand, love him.

I want to recommend The Prestige. I am going to write a review for it, but for now all I can say is see this excellent movie before it is out of theaters.

Seconding it. This is why I love the Dollar Theatres, you can still see it, and for cheap. The movie practically deserves a thread of it's own.

Also, I'm recommending Little Miss Sunshine as well. It's on the odder side, but few movies make me laugh hard enough to start punching the seat next to me.

heh i just got finished watching a really artsy film called mirrormask. the story was a little underdeveloped but the incredible visuals more than make up for it. beautifully designed evnvironments and characters. eye-candy of the best variety.
