Is there any way you can post a little bit more detail as to what you are wanting? That way someone doesn't have to waste their/your time by PM'ing you if they are not qualified.
P.S.
This should almost go into the General Programming section.

ok, so my above post was made during school and i didnt have a lot of time to really elaborate on what i need.
after having done a little research i have found that i actually need someone who knows JavaScript or ActionScript. my project's end product is obviously a flash game.
i am still doing research and i may find a better way to do what i want.

I took one year of Java and Flash. I have basic knowledge, but I don't know if I can help unless you tell me wht you're trying to do.

I am assuming you (tuffghost) don't have any experiences with JavaScript or ActionScript then, correct?
If I am correct, I think you may be in a little over your head by taking on something this difficult. A flash game takes a lot of time and knowledge of the language(s) that you are writing it in. If you want to make a *good* game you will probably need to know how to create AI algorithms as well. But please don't let me detour you if you really want to try, but please take heed of what I have said.

• as far as coding experience goes, i have some basic c++ knowledge, and i am obtaining resources for javascript and flash.
• i have already found a say to deal with the AI issue. i know how ridiculous those algorithms can be so i actually built the battle engine around avoiding those complex bits of code.
• i understand that this seems like a daunting task, but i have done my best to accommodate for the difficulties by keeping things simple. etheriel has been helping me with this project for nearly a year now.

You must be narrowing it down a lot then. If you really need help, I would be more than happy to try and help you, but I do not know JavaScripts at all. So if it you need any C++ or Java coding done, I can try and be of assitance. Last year, in my AP Computer Science class we got as far as classes with Java, but I would have to review that. As for C++ I am as far as loops, and structs.
You have been working on it a year; so that means you have some of it done and working? If so, what is all working and how much can it do?
Another question that might help would be: What type of game is it?

I would like to point out that I am intimately involved in this project already and will gladly assist with coding where I can, but I presently only have rudimentary C++ knowledge.
Perhaps you should PM Anti with a link to the sliders wiki? I can help him fill in the blanks.
