This is a great site for downloading fansubs. Being a Plus member($5) allows you to legally download fansubs of licened shows. Since I am a plus member I don't know if you can download unlicened stuff for free. Once you become a member you get 5GB of bandwidth, which is about 25-30 episodes (a lot cheaper than DVDs). If you run out you can buy more ($5 for 5GB, $9 for 10GB, or $15 for 20 I think). They also have manga if you prefer that. All their files are zip files so you don't have to worry about torrents.
